CMI has developed a range of Ortho-Mode Transducers (OMT) from 2 to 200 GHz. Each OMT is precisely designed for optimum performance, size, and manufacturability. By combining precision CAD tools, design techniques, and precise fabrication, CMI can produce these high performance devices with no tuning screws. This leads to improved power handling, very low PIM, and the elimination of bench tuning.

Depending on the application, these OMTs can be manufactured by direct machining/EDM or by copper electroforming in a single piece construction with integral flanges for high mechanical strength and very low PIM.
