CMI standard precision Ortho-Mode Transducers (OMT) use an asymmetric design to combine or separate two linearly polarized orthogonal signals. Our OMT has a circular common port and two rectangular waveguide ports.
CMI's OMTs can be fabricated by either precision machining or precision copper electroforming.
CMI also supplies symmetric OMT designs that operate over entire waveguide bands with excellent isolation and VSWR. Please contact us for more details.
Our OMTs are Temperature Stable with typical Bandwidth of 20% and Power Handling of 100W CW (not tested). Wider bandwidths are available in custom designs upon request.
